I know maybe some of you thinks that the holiday too short for us. Well, that's how I feel. I've been relaxing and playing during the past few days. I'm being nagged at now by my mother.

Now it's the third week. Just hope that MOE will give us few more weeks due to the Influenza. Now the rear gates of Anglican High School. Telling you in case you have to return. The weather in this few weeks have been unbearably hot. But never mind, free sauna. It's the "durian season". Durians are growing very well because of the warm weather and are sold cheaply. So drink lots of water everyday. Really drink. And plain water if possible. 凉茶 is the best. :P
Must take care. Because we must win the best attendance thingy...

I am writing this post to apologise to the class. You all might have noticed that my temper is very bad, and have not really good patience. I am very sorry if I had mistreated you in the past, like yelling at you or reprimanding you. I have reasons for committing my mistake, only that you did not deserve that treatment.

The people I want to specify is YiTian. During that Enterprise, he used his fingers to come in contact with marshmallows. I reprimanded and shouted at him fiercely. I seriously know that I should not treat him like this, but I just did not want incidents like the INDIAN ROJAK to happen in school, although there are no rats.

Another person is Faith. Today I shouted at her because of the confusion of food price.

calculating how much money we must donate to class fund
for the birthday thingy :D
lets say .... 1 cake cost about $30.
okay so if 7 - 8 people share one cake.
7 7 8 8 8 <-- groups of people eating one cake
we'll need like..
5 cakes a celebration.
5 x $30 = $150
$150 x 4 = $600 ( per year )
wow thats alot sia.
$600 divide by 38 = $15.70
so for the 4 celebrations a year, u all need to pay $15 each.
thats if 7 to 8 people share one cake.
cos i not sure if 7 people can finish one cake or not..
the slice like quite big to me.. LOL.

so lets calculate another way.
1 cake cost about $30
9 - 10 people share a cake.
9 9 10 10 <-- groups of people eating one cake.
then.. 9 x 4 = 36
4 x $30 = $120
$120 x 4 = $480 ( per year )
$480 divide 38 = $12.60
so is $12 per person.

Problem Situation 2
Singapore will be hosting the inaugural Asian Youth Games this year
from 29 June to 7 July 2009. The AYG will be a regional event open to
all Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) members, with a projected 45
National Olympic Councils (NOCs) expected to send about 1,300 top
juniors to compete in the 9 sports offered, namely Athletics, Aquatics
(Swimming and Diving), 3-on-3 Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Bowling,
Football, Sailing, Shooting, Table Tennis.

The objectives of the event are:
• To gather the youth from around Asia in a celebration of youth, sports and learning
• To provide a platform for youths in Asia to engage in friendly competition and imbibe the
Olympic sporting values of excellence, friendship and respect
• To provide a forum for learning, cultural exchange and friendship among the youth

Details of the Asian Youth Games are as follows:
• Dates of competition: 29 June - 7 July 2009
• No of Sports Events: 90
• Age of athletes: 14 to 17 years old
• About 1,300 athletes from 45 countries are anticipated to compete at the 1st AYG

You have been tasked to come up with a photo holder to commemorate this special event. The
photo holder needs to incorporate the Games spirit, be vibrant and full of energy. You can have
the option of integrating electronics components with your photo holder.

Singapore Sports Council has approached you to design a
photo-frame-cum-notepad for the coming Asia Youth Games.
The winning design will be used for the souvenirs that will be

The oral component carried a rather heavy weightage so use your weekend to draft a speech based on your chosen topic. Students will be picked at random, so you'd never know if its your turn come Monday :)

Time yourself, your speech must not be less than 2 min long and should not exceed 3 min.
